Show Synopsis
What better way to enter into the spirit and wonder of Easter than by coming to enjoy ‘Oliver!’? Based on the Charles Dickens’ classic novel ‘Oliver Twist’, it tells the story of a young boy growing up in the workhouses of the North and escaping to try and find a new life on the streets of London.
He is duped into joining Fagin's gang of thieves, eventually he is rescued and is re-united with his grandad
This enchanting musical was performed by RAOST back in 1975 and 1991 but this will be the first time they have performed it at the Hall For Cornwall. With a cast of over 35 boys from all over the county and an experienced ensemble to support them, this show, under the directorship of Trevor Hitchings and musical talents of Alastair Taylor will be something really special and heart warming .
With musical numbers like, ‘Oompah pah’, ‘I'd do Anything’, and ‘Consider Yourself’, this show will guarantee to make you leave the theatre tapping your toes, and whistling the songs.
