Show Synopsis

The year was 1909 when this Grand old lady introduced herseslf to her audiences by performing Gilbert & Sullivan's 'Mikado' at the Druids Hall (now St Rumons Gardens) in Redruth. From then until now, RAOS(T) have been entertaining audiences through the sinking of the Titanic, The Queen's Coronation and man's landing on the moon. She boasts of being the only society in the South West of England that has performed three major shows in huge circus tents. Barnum, Joseph and Jesus Christ Superstar were staged infront of thousands and to this day, still vividly remembered by cast, crew and audiences alike. RAOST has regularly performed at venues like the Hall for Cornwall, the Minack and even a Leisure Centre! But it's the home town venue of Redruth, where it all started where RAOST presents their amazing show, 100 Stars for 100 Years. The newly refurbished Regal is where RAOST will entertain you, looking back at a 100 years together. Performing old favourites that we love to hear time and time again and looking forward to new and exciting songs from shows of the future. Come and be part of this nostalgic journey with us.
